Buck and Dex Rock! They arranged for me to have a photo pass to a great Sevendust show. The Sunshine Theatre security and management was awesome to me basically allowing me to rip it up and enjoy the night. Check out the following pics:
ANEW*REVOLUTION Lead Man:

I met Buck (seen above enjoying the winner) while photographing The Wild Side at The Sunshine Theatre in Albuquerque, NM. It Featured amateur boxing, kickboxing and MMA. Buck was the slick ring side announcer for the evening. Since that night we decided I would be the Unofficial photographer for his talk show the Morning Edge with Buck and Dex. Unofficial because it's just cooler and who needs to deal with the red tape of a radio station. Buck and Dex called me live on the air and Buck informed me he was hooking me up with photo credentials for Sevendust at the Sunshine Theatre. Which sucks because I'll miss my hockey game but on the other hand I wanted to go anyway and now get free access. All because of meeting Buck two nights prior and telling him it would be cool to have me be his and Dex's personal photographer more or LESS. The idea behind the unofficial photographer is that I will hook Buck and Dex up with images when they have bands and celebs in the Studio in addition to documenting the local rock scene for the edge army.
The Wild Side event was put together by Tom Vaughn of FIT NHB. FIT NHB is a local gym that trains fighters for MMA and Kickboxing etc. The acronym stands for Fighters in Training, No Holds Barred. I'm hoping Tom will make me the official photographer of FIT NHB, ha we'll see. I tried to hook up with Jackson's gym but was brushed off a bit.
The real reason I was there was because one of my hockey buddies, Dakota Martin, was making his MMA debut and I thought it would be cool to go down and support him in addition to getting a free ring side seat. I have to hand it to Dakota he has big balls to get in the ring. However he didn't fair to well. The other dude seemed to have a lot more experience.
